A while ago I had a problem with Windows Mobile phone emulator. My mobile .NET application could not connect to the network, the network card was enabled i had a good IP assigned and still nothing would go out. The workaround I is some kind lame, but it helped me and for the time being is sufficient.
Instead connecting with the network card enabled:
- I have installed Active Sync
- cradled the the emulator device
- and enabled DMA connection in the Active Sync
This way network connection is routed through active sync, but still no UDP packets are going out…
