I specialise in full stack Python web development. At the moment I mostly work with Django, but I have some Flask belt notches. I do an occasional software quality audit, Python, Django, Flask or GAE training or a general software consulting commission.
I like to organise agile development process for teams, introducing them to SCRUM, making sure their CI does more than building binaries and settings a goal on Continuous Delivery.
For almost 20 years I have been responsible for design and development of dozen medium size enterprise applications — all highly business focused — and worked on many more as developer or consultant.
Between 2010 and 2013 I have been working on Dziennik.edu.pl,a grade book SaaS application based on Google App Engine with an aspiration to become much more. I sold the whole business to an investor.
Since then I have been working as a freelance developer and consultant on proprietary software, with occasional web development project. My more notable projects are Your.HR and Moniuszko200.pl — I regret that I cannot showcase more projects as they are covered by NDA’s.
I occasionally teach programming in schools — it’s kind of a hobby of mine. I am a proud co-author of CEO Koduj z Klasą course Python 101, trainer in Misja Programowanie and facilitator in my small town’s coding club for children.
As a CTO and shareholder I have designed and build production environment and procedures for software development teams in Internetium and Qualent Software, with main focus on reliability and ability to deliver high quality products in lightweight and agile environment, yet in conformance with ISO 9001:2000 standard.
I have successfully coached and lead teams to use agile development principles on development process, minimizing compliance tasks, maximizing usage of automation tools and focusing effort on delivery of value to the customer. My team is always improving reliability of development process, introducing tools and techniques best for the product quality.
